Housing Evolution is a photographic project developed during a trip to Asia. The project shows the various common points between the different dwelling houses encountered, from the fisherman stilt houses in Cambodia, to the skyscrapers in Hong Kong.
Despite the enormous differences between them, there were many common points between these buildings, like the vertical structure, the optimisation of space and the adaptation to the environment.
And the adaptation to the environment is the central point of evolution.
Exactly like living things, buildings, houses and cities develop on a certain territory absorbing its characteristics and becoming part of it.
This project was exhibited as part of the OFF//Foto Festival, in the Friedrich Café in Heidelberg, Germany.
- Exhibition period 22/09/2017 - 27/10/2017
